Stacking The Shelves (2)

Stacking The Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews where you share what books you've acquired from various places throughout the week

Although this is our second week doing StS, this is my first week contributing something since my sister did it last week. I don't have much this time around, but I hope to have more of a haul in the future. My preferred way to read these days is my Kindle, but I still do read and enjoy physical books. Last year, I donated many of my books because I don't have alot of room and they were just sitting in boxes. Ebooks are just more convenient as well as trips to the library. I still have Harry Potter in hardcover though. ;)

Just curious, what is your preferred way to read?

  2. Yay, so glad you liked Ten. I haven't read it yet, I'm excited, but scared as hell :D Ha. I prefer physical books as well, but I don't have anywhere to put them and the world is moving towards ebooks, so.. Yeah, you do what you gotta do: purchase ebooks. Although, I like having a real book in my hands and I appreciate it way more, I think some day we won't even have that chance -.- Oh, well.. Everyone's different and whatever floats ones boat, if one prefers ebooks, way to go! ;)

someone just gate The Diviners a 4 star rating among my friends on Goodreads so I must check that out.

I like both of your choices :)
And thank you for stopping by, wishing you lots and lots of sunshine!

  3. seen so so sooooooooo many amazing reviews for TEN but amazon is saying 1-3 weeks delivery and being in the UK I can't just get it from the store. I suppose I could wait but I WANT IT RIGHT THIS SECOND OMG AMAZON STOP BEING MEAN.

I agree re ebooks tbh.....I don't really have that much room for actual physical books and having them all on one lightweight small device that I can just shove in my purse and take ANYWHERE, well, for me that living the dream.

  4. I know what you mean about Ebooks being convenient. Plus not everyone can afford to buy as many physical books as me :P
I have two bookshelves full.. soon, not that I have the room, I will need another lol

But I read on my kindle from time to time.
Btw, Susan, you girls should sign up to netgalley. Its digital based where you can get arcs of books to review.

I haven't gotten any books in a few weeks. But I'll be doing mine when I get back. (I go by, In my Mailbox, though.)

    1. Libba Bray certainly had a thing for writing huge books. I remember "The Sweet, Far Thing" was like 900+ pages! LOL. I seriously can't wait to read The Diviners.

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

About Us

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Once upon a time, there were two sisters -Susan and Shauna - who were moved and mesmerized by stories through any medium, since they were teeny tiny. This passion stayed with them throughout adulthood, and after becoming even more enthralled with Young Adult fiction in recent times (and some Adult & MG!) they decided they just had to open up their own book blog and share their enthusiasm with the world, or well, to anyone who would listen.
