Hello everyone! It's another Feature & Follow Friday! It's been a blast meeting everyone and following so many blogs. We hope this week will be just as successful as last week!
Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee.
This week's question is...
Q: What book do you think would make a great Halloween movie? Please explain in graphic detail of goriness...
This is a great question! I am a huge fan of horror films and watching them around Halloween just sets an even spookier tone. Personally, I think the book that would make an EXCELLENT Halloween movie is Ten by Gretchen McNeil (read my review here). I think it could make a great movie regardless, but it would make a literal killing at the box office around October 31st! (Like my pun? Hehe). I could just picture the hottest cast of 20-somethings from television and film just thrown together and fighting for their movie lives on a deserted, desolate island? It's a classic slasher and honestly could be the next "I Know What You Did Last Summer". There's only a couple of things I would change for the adaption and it's more about relationship/characterization. I wouldn't touch the main plot/mystery because it is fantastic as is! I'm just so excited about thinking this right now. I hope some film studio picks the options up on this book because it is just an absolutely stunning story!
Let me know what you think in the comments! Or if you want, you can just say hi!

I have just bought Ten & can't wait to get started on it.

Ooo Ten! I still NEED to get a copy of this but I am sure it would make for an excellent movie! ^.^ New follower (Frodosco - GFC). If you would like to check out my FF you can do so here. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Ten yet, but have seen excellent reviews - and it sounds like it would be a pretty good Halloween movie.
ReplyDeleteFirst time I heard of this was last night when my co-blogger at Books to Infinity mentioned it. My god. I don't do creepy things. I'm glad you found something that makes you super excited, though. Hopefully it'll get that movie option. :)

I haven't read TEN, but I did love the original by Agatha Christie and could definitely see it as a horror movie! Thanks for the follow - I followed back via GFC.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Ten, yet, but I bet it would make a terrific Halloween movie. The summary reminds me of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

This is definitely on my TBR pile. Based on the storyline, this is a great choice! And I like that it wasn't another zombie novel (seemed like the trend for this question lol). Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm following back via GFC =).
